Election Forum (Transport Functional Constituency) Successfully Held

Hong Kong, 25 November 2025 – The Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong (CILTHK) successfully hosted the Election Forum (Transport Functional Constituency). The event drew over a hundred industry representatives and election committee members from the transport sector, demonstrating the strong engagement and enthusiasm within the community.

An opening remarks was delivered by Mr. Tsui Chun-fai, Honorary Secretary of CILTHK.  With Election Committee Members Mr. Lee Luen-fai and Mr. Chan Kwok-shing acting as facilitators of the forum, candidates of the Transport Functional Constituency Mr. Feng Jiapei (TR1) and Mr. Lam Ming-fung, Lothair (TR2) presented their policy platforms, sharing their visions for the future development of the industry.

Wide range of topics, including land public transport, maritime transport, aviation development, freight logistics, green energy, and autonomous driving technologies were covered in the interactive sessions during which election committee members and industry representatives actively raised questions. Both candidates responded comprehensively, showcasing their respective policy directions professional insights.

The forum was designed to foster dialogue between candidates and the industry, enabling voters to gain a deeper understanding of the candidates’ platforms. CITLHK further encouraged members of the sector to actively participate in the upcoming election on 7 December 2025, contributing to the sustainable advancement of the industry in Hong Kong.
