NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Annual General
Meeting (AGM) 2024 of the Chartered
Institute of Logistics and Transport in Hong Kong will be held on Monday, 2nd September 2024 at 19:00 hours in CESSOM, 12/F, Customs Headquarters Building, 222 Java Road, North
Point, Hong Kong. AGENDA 1. Welcome address of the President of CILTHK
2. To receive and adopt the minutes of the Annual
General Meeting 2023 held on 7th
September 2023
3. To receive and adopt the 2023/2024
Annual Report of the Council
4. To receive and adopt the Financial Report for
the year ending 31st December 2023
5. To elect Members of
the Council for the ensuing term 2024-2026 ending 30th September
2026 (A
list of the nominations received as at 31st July 2024 and the Personal Profiles of Nominees are attached in Appendix IV)
6. To consider and pass
Special Resolution on the adjustment of the Annual Subscriptions and Election
Fees for Membership with effect from 1st October 2024 (Appendix V)
7. To consider and pass
Special Resolution on the revocation of the waiver of the Certification Fee for
Student Membership which was approved in the CILTHK AGM 2014. (Appendix VI)
8. To re-appoint Mr. David BEAVES as the Honorary Legal Advisor for
the ensuing term 2024-2026
9. To re-appoint Fan, Chan & Co. Limited C.P.A (the new name of the then Ronald H.T. Lee & Co. which reorganised/merged in
2024) as the Honorary Auditor to audit the account for the financial year ending
31st December 2024.

strictly observe all related provisions as detailed in Appendix I when attending the AGM.
At the conclusion of
the AGM 2024, a Chinese cuisine dinner will be served for members and their
guests at the same venue (CESSOM, 12/F, Customs Headquarters Building, 222
Java Road, North Point, Hong Kong). Please
refer to the attached reply slip (Appendix II) for details on the charge
for the dinner. A location map of Customs
Headquarters Building is enclosed.
Those members and guests who would like to join
the Chinese cuisine dinner are required to return the enclosed reply slip (Appendix
II) on or before 26th
August 2024. Reservations will only be confirmed upon payment received.

P.S. The revision of the CILTHK's Articles of Association resolved in 2017's Annual General Meeting enables notices of meetings to be given by electronic means. Accordingly, annual report, general meeting notice and related documents will be sent to the members in electronic form rather than in printed form from 2018 onwards on request.
